The Broiler Restaurant

Variety of Materials

My work with the restaurant primarily involves creating various marketing materials, such as large menu signages and digital icons, all designed to align with the restaurant's color scheme of orange, white, and black. The restaurant has a traditional, old-fashioned atmosphere, having been established in 1959, and I ensured that all branding elements were properly coordinated.

Once the designs were finalized, I communicated with vendors to ensure the accurate printing and fulfillment of each design's purpose. For example, I provided specific instructions to the vendor representatives to add two holes in the top corners of the menu signs for easy hanging.

Digital Menu TV Designs

I began by setting the layout dimensions to match the three TV displays in the restaurant located in Arlington, Virginia. During the process, I prioritized readability and hierarchy before focusing on aesthetics and images. The main goal was to inform customers about the menu items and their prices. Afterward, I finalized the design by adding colors, pictures, and some animations.
